OHE gets digital TV service

The Office of Higher Education (OHE) has installed a digital cable TV service in their office in the bid to provide relevant and current information to their staff. The service, installed by Hitron, supplies the office with 38 channels including 10 news channels.

NBPO Pays Full Scholarships

New Britain Palm Oil Limited (NBPOL) is the first corporate sponsor to pay in full, fees for its sponsored students at PNG University of Natural Resources and Environment (UNRE).

NBPOL training manager Benjamin Kaukia presented a cheque of K78,900.50 last Wednesday (subs Feb 16) to UNRE acting Bursar Stanley Panap cover expenses for seven students who are in their final year in the Bachelor in Tropical Agriculture Programme.

UNRE Guards get new Uniforms

Security guards at the University of Natural Resources & Environment (UNRE) have been urged to uphold the Constitution; and the rules and regulations of the institution.

Vice Chancellor Professor Philip Siaguru made the call when speaking to the guards after a parade last Friday.

He stressed that the Security Services Unit is the university’s enforcing agency and it is the duty of security officers not just to up hold the laws and By-Laws of the institution but to live by them as well.
